About the Dust Bowl 100
This is Indiana: Farm fields stretching to the horizon, dotted with silhouettes of barns and intersected by miles of lightly traveled gravel roads. Century-old covered bridges crossing serene streams. Beautiful wooded oases offering shelter from the July sun. Hills (yes, Hills!) that will wake the legs and burn the lungs (but not for too long, because remember, this is Indiana). And a handful of small towns where you’ll be greeted by a wave and a smile as you pass through.
The Dust Bowl 100 presented by Zipp is meant to celebrate all this. Three distances are available (100M, 100K, & 44M), so whether you're a seasoned cyclist seeking a compelling challenge or an adventurous spirit eager to explore Indiana’s backroads on two wheels, we invite you to be part of this journey with us. Oh, and about the Dust Bowl name? Let’s just say it can be pretty dry around these parts in late summer. But it could also be rainy, or damp, or chilly, or absolutely beautiful. Remember, this is Indiana!
Routes
Set against the picturesque landscapes of the Hoosier state, the DB100 offers 3 route options (100M, 100K, and 44M) that provide a unique journey through history and terrain. The meticulously designed courses take riders over some of the Midwest's finest gravel roads, weaving together both wide open farm fields and wooded creek valleys, stitched together by several iconic bridges echoing a century’s worth of stories.
